Job summary

Kenco Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Warehouse Lead to coach and supervise warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and back up the supervisor as needed. This role focuses on safety, material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.

You will train forklift operators, conduct PIT and recertification, participate in cycle counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen.
• 2+ years in warehouse/distribution operations.
• 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to complete daily tasks and support the Lead's duties.
• Provide backup to supervisor and assist in shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and material handling.
• Conduct PIT training and annual recertification.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG and SQFI/FDA requirements.
• Contribute to cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
