Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers. The role includes conducting PIT certification, safety observations, and daily operations support across shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.

The Lead will back up supervisors, ensure regulatory readiness, and maintain accurate paperwork while driving continuous improvements in efficiency and safety. Strong leadership and forklift experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in warehouse/distribution operations.
• At least 6 months in a leadership or supervisory role in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety and performance observations and inspections.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete shipping paperwork and labeling per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Ensure readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer inspections.
• Provide backup support to other warehouse roles as needed.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and maintain accurate records.
