Job summary

Kenco Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and supervise warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and back up the supervisor as needed. Responsibilities include training forklift drivers, conducting inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role covers various warehouse functions such as shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling, with safety and continuous improvement emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Min 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience; 6 months leadership/supervisory experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Licensed forklift operator or ability to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution and store materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and maintain equipment readiness.
• Ensure SQFI, FDA, and customer inspection readiness.
• Communicate and report incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure proper product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
