Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee various warehouse functions, and provide backup to supervision. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and accurate execution of daily tasks, with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic 3PL environment.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in warehousing and a forklift license, plus the ability to conduct PIT training and certifications and monitor compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill their daily tasks.
• Lead may supervise shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control or material handling operations.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed.
• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze daily production reports and report variances to leadership.
