Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Lead on 2nd shift in Plainfield, IL. You will supervise inventory activities, coordinate cycle counts, and reconcile records to ensure accurate stock levels.

Responsibilities include maintaining stockroom layout, reviewing records, and preparing reports. Requires forklift/cherry picker experience, Synapse WMS familiarity, and 2+ years in inventory control or warehouse roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Inventory Control or related training.
• 1–2 years in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift and cherry picker/high lift experience.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Knowledge of KPI reporting, cycle counts, and product rotation.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stockroom layout and storage area efficiency.
• Study records and remediate non-usable or excess stock.
• Review inventory records for accuracy and stock levels.
• Schedule and conduct periodic inventories.
• Prepare composite reports from inventory data.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Issue instructions and manage workflow with team.
• Assign duties and ensure quality and policy compliance.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
