RJW Logistics Group is hiring an Inventory Control Lead in Joliet to supervise inventory activities across stockroom, warehouse, and yard. The role emphasizes accurate records, orderly stock layout, and coordinating cycle counts with the team.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in inventory control, forklift and cherry picker experience, and proficiency with WMS Synapse and MS Office. Travel to other facilities may be required. This position offers growth in a growing logistics organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Knowledge of KPI reporting and cycle count programs.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stockroom, warehouse, and yard inventory activities.
• Maintain stockroom layout and manage storage efficiency.
• Audit records for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Schedule and coordinate cycle counts and inventories.
• Generate composite reports from Inventory Specialists.
• Identify causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Direct team workflow and ensure policy compliance.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
