Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in our warehouse to move goods safely and efficiently across staging, storage, and pick areas. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include locating slots, loading/unloading, restocking, inspecting items for damage, and ensuring accurate data entry from receiving sheets and procedures. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight in the staging area and transports to freezer.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock items per next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock and removes outdated inventory according to policy.
• Inspects items for damage and performs temperature/quality checks.
