Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to support our distribution process. You will operate material handling equipment, locate storage slots, and ensure accurate data entry for inventory control.

The role requires lifting up to 90 pounds and working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments. Responsibilities include stocking, replenishment, stock rotation, and maintaining safety and GMP standards while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds, up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move and store goods.
• Locate slots on racks and place pallets, entering data as required.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s orders.
• Rotate stock to front and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots; maintain safe work area.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and perform equipment checks.
