Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to move freight, stock inventory, and support efficient warehouse operations. The role requires operating forklifts and other equipment while following GMP standards in a multi-temperature environment.

The position demands safety awareness, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and reach repeatedly during shift.
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc.
• Move freight to inventory and replenishment slots while maintaining safety and GMP standards.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks as needed.
• Complete paperwork and keep work area clean and organized.
