Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the sales floor and collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure effective product placement and showroom flow.

You will unload and load products from semi-trailers, transfer items to the showroom, wrap and store items for delivery or pickup, document receipts, keep the backroom clean, perform minor repairs, and assist with weekly warehouse tasks and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 100 lbs or more.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Effective communication within a retail warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Maintain floor inventory by arranging showroom materials and transferring items from warehouse to floor.
• Wrap and store sold items for delivery or pickup.
• Coordinate with Visual team to prioritize floor and incoming merchandise.
• Document product receipts and handle warehouse clerical tasks.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Keep warehouse and backroom clean and organized.
• Perform basic building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and support cost-reduction efforts.
• Fulfil other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervise where needed.
