Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the sales floor and coordinate with the Visual Merchandiser for effective product placement. The role involves warehouse operations, product setup, wrapping, and storage for pickup or delivery, while keeping the area clean and organized.

You will work with a team, unload/load goods, and help with clerical tasks, with opportunities to contribute to cost savings and special projects.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Maintain showroom floor inventory and set up incoming products.
• Move sold products to be delivered or picked up.
• Communicate with Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Document product receipt and other warehouse clerical tasks.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and backroom area.
• Perform general housekeeping and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
