Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the sales floor and support the Visual Merchandiser with product placement. This role includes warehouse operations such as setup, wrapping, and storage for customer pickup or delivery, while keeping the backroom organized.

You will unload/load products from semi-trailers, move items to the floor, document receipts, and assist with repairs and upkeep. teamwork and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Maintain showroom floor inventory and transfer products from the warehouse to the floor.
• Wrap and store sold items for delivery or pickup.
• Communicate with the Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Handle clerical warehouse tasks including product receipts.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Organize the warehouse and keep the backroom clean.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Complete weekly warehouse checklist and report issues.
• Help reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions.
• Take on additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
