Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the sales floor and collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure effective product placement. You will oversee warehouse operations for customer pickup or delivery, ensuring the backroom stays organized and clean.

The role requires lifting heavy items, working with the Visual team, and performing various warehouse tasks to support showroom readiness and customer service.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Maintain showroom floor inventory and assist with product placement.
• Wrap and store sold products for delivery or pickup.
• Coordinate with Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Document product receipts and handle warehouse clerical tasks.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; perform general housekeeping.
• Perform minor building maintenance and repairs.
• Complete and submit weekly warehouse checklist.
• Help reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions.
• Fulfil other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Supervise and provide leadership.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
