Performance Team in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors and industrial equipment, can independently perform routine troubleshooting

Competenze

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience with conveyor systems: bearings, belts and chains, motors and gearboxes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
• Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
• Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
• Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, misalignment, lubrication deficiencies.
• Complete lubrication, belt adjustments, component replacements, and routine maintenance activities.
• Document maintenance findings and report equipment concerns to maintenance leadership.
• Support efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of warehouse support equipment including dock equipment, fans, air compressors, and facility systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas, tools, and equipment.
