Job summary

Performance Team in Groveport, OH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, safe tool handling, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Overtime and weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience working with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components such as bearings, rollers, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Document maintenance findings and report to leadership.
• Follow safety requirements (OSHA/LOTO) and maintain clean, safe work areas.
