Job summary

Staples seeks a Warehouse Associate to support our supply chain in Portland, Oregon. You may work in six different areas, including bulk handling, porter tasks, replenishment, receiving/putaway, returns, and shipping. Safety and accuracy are emphasized as you move product up to 100 lbs with material handling equipment.

We offer a pay-for-performance structure and a path from SC2 into SC1 roles as needed. The role requires 18+ and the ability to pass a drug screen; overtime may be required based

Qualifications

• 3+ months related warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If full-time, ability to work additional overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety shoes and be able to stand/walk long durations.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance to keep the facility safe and tidy.
• Handle replenishment activities and ensure accurate product placement.
• Assist with receiving/putaway/returns and verify quantities against packing lists.
• Assist with shipping duties including stacking and shrink-wrapping customer orders.
• Be flexible to move into any of the above roles as needed.
