Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler in Portland, OR to load trucks with products for delivery and to uphold safety standards. You will lift, push and pull items up to 100 pounds, stack pallets, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 3+ months of warehouse experience, ability to pass a drug screen, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Safety shoes are required and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading trucks with products to be delivered to customers.
• Lift, lower and carry products in a fast-paced environment and stack empty pallets.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow safety practices.
• Support Staples Supply Chain delivery operations through reliable execution.
