Job summary

Staples is seeking a versatile Warehouse SC2 associate to operate material handling equipment and support multiple warehouse functions. The role includes picking and moving product up to 100 lbs, loading, unloading, and maintaining a clean work environment.

The position may rotate through Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment and Receiving/Returns, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months related warehouse experience or equivalent training.
• Must pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills, verbal and written.
• Full-time associates must be able to work additional hours when needed.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, pallet jacks) to pick and move product up to 100 lbs.
• Perform warehouse tasks including cleaning, maintenance, receiving/putaway/returns, and packing/shrink-wrapping orders.
• Unload trucks manually and ensure accurate item quantities with packing slips.
• Work across roles (SC2/SC1) as needed to support operations.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean, organized work area.
