Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our supply chain operations. You may work in one of six areas, including bulk/material handling, porter duties, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping.

All roles emphasize safety, proper equipment operation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The role requires ability to lift 70–100 lbs, pass a drug screen where allowed, and stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Full-Time associates may require additional overtime hours based on business needs.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs in the warehouse.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in adherence to safety procedures.
• Perform warehouse replenishment and putaway tasks.
• Assist receiving/returns, confirm product accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Handle returns, match quantities to packing slips and label items accordingly.
• Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders for shipping.
• May be moved between six roles (SC1/SC2) as needed to meet business demand.
