Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineering professional to identify, pilot, deploy, and optimize advanced warehouse automation technologies across projects.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, product teams and partners to demonstrate value and feasibility while driving efficiency and competitive differentiation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation, material handling technologies, industrial engineering, or warehouse systems integration.
• 2+ years experience in warehouse automation including sortation conveyors, goods-to-person, autonomous vehicles/robots, AS/RS.
• Knowledge of WMS/WES and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation selection and validation on new business sale projects by identifying potential automation technologies.
• Build ROI and justification based on multiple criteria to select optimal solution design.
• Support design validation and vendor option review for implementation.
• Coordinate implementation milestones and ensure on-site execution and uptime.
