Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, and deploy cutting-edge warehouse automation technologies across multiple sites.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, and solution design teams to demonstrate value and feasibility of new automation capabilities, and support customers with scalable, efficient solutions. The role requires strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills to drive successful implementation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation or related field preferred.
• Experience with warehouse automation technologies and material handling systems.
• Knowledge of CAD, slotting, MOST, simulation, WMS and data visualization tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation selection and validation on new business sale projects.
• Build ROI and justification to select optimal solution designs.
• Coordinate vendor reviews and support SOW validation.
• Provide input on automation solution designs for implementation and performance.
• Track milestones and manage project planning for implementations.
