Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot and deploy advanced automation technologies across multiple facilities.

You will collaborate with operations, IT, product teams and partners to demonstrate value and feasibility, supporting ongoing optimization and customer-focused improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation, material handling technologies, industrial engineering or warehouse systems integration.
• Experience in warehouse automation including sortation conveyors, autonomous vehicles/robots, ASRS.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation technology selection and validation on new business sale projects by identifying potential automation technologies.
• Build ROI and justification to select optimal solution designs.
• Support design validation and review vendor FSD/SOW gaps using the FSD checklist process.
• Coordinate implementation milestones and requirements for project execution.
• Analyze data from dashboards to support system optimization and performance improvements.
• Participate in SAT testing and punch list tracking post go-live.
