Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Automation Engineering professional to identify, pilot, and deploy advanced automation technologies across warehouse operations.

You will collaborate with operations, solution design, IT, and stakeholders to validate concepts and implement solutions that differentiate Ryder in the market. The role requires strong analytical and project-management skills, robust vendor coordination, and the ability to work across multiple regions and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation or related fields preferred.
• Experience with automation vendors, design validation and ROI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation technology evaluation and ROI justification for new business opportunities.
• Support automation solution design validation and vendor SOW review using FSD Checklist.
• Coordinate implementation projects, track milestones and manage on-site communications.
• Perform data analysis to optimize warehouse automation systems and performance.
