Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, and deploy cutting-edge automation technologies for diverse warehouse operations. You will work with operations, IT, product teams and stakeholders to demonstrate value and feasibility of solutions that differentiate Ryder in a competitive market.

You will lead automation design input, support ROI analyses, and coordinate implementations, testing, and handoffs to ensure sustained performance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field, required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation or related field.
• Knowledge of warehouse management operations and Lean methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation selection and validation on new business sale projects.
• Build ROI and justification for optimal solution design.
• Manage smaller implementation projects and update project plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and on-site staff during deployments.
• Perform data analysis to support optimization of warehouse systems.
