Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, and deploy cutting-edge automation technologies across multiple facilities.

You will work with operations, IT, solution design, and stakeholders to demonstrate value and feasibility of new capabilities, aligning with Ryder’s strategy to improve efficiency and win new business. Responsibilities include driving ROI analyses, validating designs, coordinating vendor reviews, and leading on-site deployment and SAT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years in warehouse automation, material handling tech, or warehouse systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation technology evaluation, ROI justification, and vendor comparisons for new business opportunities.
• Support design validation, vendor FSD/SOW gap analysis, and project scoping.
• Coordinate implementation plans, milestones, and on-site support for pilot deployments and go-live activities.
