Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Automation Engineer to identify, pilot, and deploy automation tech across multiple sites. You’ll work with operations, IT, and solution teams to demonstrate value and feasibility of automation projects.

The role spans design validation, vendor reviews, and on-site deployment, with a focus on ROI, performance, and uptime, plus travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in industrial/related field.
• Experience with warehouse automation and material handling.
• Knowledge of data analytics and automation concepts.
• Experience in financial business case analysis is a plus.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation technology evaluation and ROI analysis.
• Support RFPs and project design validation for automation solutions.
• Draftables include SOW validation and vendor assessments.
• Contribute to solution designs for performance and uptime.
• Coordinate project milestones and on-site implementation.
• Perform data analysis to optimize systems and dashboards.
• Assist with SAT testing plans and commissioning.
