Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Warehouse Attendant for a client in North Charleston, SC to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. The role involves receiving, staging, processing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

This is a full-time, on-site, open-ended temporary assignment paying $19 per hour. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and forklift experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Receive, package, and prepare products for shipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify product quantities and maintain quality standards.
• Weigh products and materials as required for shipping and receiving.
• Accurately prepare orders for shipment following inventory rotation procedures.
• Maintain organized inventory storage areas.
• Assist with inventory tracking and recordkeeping.
• Ensure products and shipments are properly labeled and documented.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping and sanitation duties.
• Complete required operational and shipping documentation accurately.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with facility upkeep and other warehouse-related tasks as needed.
• Support overall team objectives and operational goals.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a Warehouse Attendant to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for receiving, staging, processing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety standards, and warehouse organization. • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequent use of hands for operating equipment and handling materials.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse position

Equipment Experience: Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred, including -

• Forklifts
• Pallet Jacks
• Loaders
• Other powered material-handling equipment
