Job summary

Vallen Distribution in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and dispatch goods in our fast-paced distribution center. You will follow established procedures, ensure accuracy, and support inventory control while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, packing, shipping, and operating warehousing equipment. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are required; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent coupled with 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn MS-Office; familiarity with Vista, Control, Prophet 21, SX.e is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, stock and store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Unload, inspect for damage, and store incoming merchandise; prepare for shipment.
• Sort, label, and organize goods on racks and shelves; optimize storage space.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders using paper or electronic pick sheets.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry-pickers) as needed.
