Vallen Distribution in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution center team. You will follow established procedures to receive, stock, pick, pack, and dispatch goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires basic reading and math skills, familiarity with warehouse software, and ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. A safety-minded, reliable team player is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift or cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders; reads schedules and work orders to determine items to move.
• Unloads, receives, and stores goods; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves, and stores goods according to codes and space availability.
• Counts items for inventory accuracy and maintains stock records.
• Picks, packs, and dispatches outgoing goods; uses pick sheets and routes items safely.
• Loads trucks for delivery; secures loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed and assists in inventory counts.
