Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and dispatch goods in a distribution center. You will follow established procedures to ensure accurate handling and storage of merchandise, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. A high school diploma and related experience are required, with opportunities for advancement within the supply chain network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment; forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency; familiarity with MS-Office, Vista, Prophet 21.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments by reading orders and determining items to move or pick.
• Unload, inspect, and store incoming goods; check for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and store items to optimize warehouse space and inventory.
• Record stock movements and maintain accurate data in the system.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Assist in inventory counts and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
