Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate to join its team in a fast-paced distribution center. You will receive, handle, stock, record, and dispatch goods according to procedures and guidelines.

Key duties include processing shipments, unloading incoming goods, storing items, and ensuring accuracy in stock records. You’ll operate warehouse equipment and participate in inventory counts, with overtime expectations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of relevant experience or training.
• Experience in loading/unloading, picking/packing, or moving goods in a warehouse is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.
• Basic computer skills and aptitude to learn software tools.

Responsibilities

• Process and load orders to complete shipments per schedules.
• Unload, receive, and store incoming goods; check for damage or discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and store goods according to size, product codes, and location policies.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods with accurate quantities.
