Johnstone Supply is seeking a reliable COS Material Handler I to join our shipping/receiving team. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping using forklift equipment, RF scanners, and ERP tools while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift: Mon–Fri 7am–5pm, some Saturdays; Pay: 17–19 USD per hour. Experience with warehouse equipment and safety procedures is valued.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems preferred.
• OSHA and safety regulations knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate power equipment (electric pallet, walkie rider, sit-down forklift) safely to locate and move products.
• Receive products by forklift or manual handling and ensure accuracy against records.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify quantities against packing lists.
• Ensure bar code labels and stock numbers are readable and accurately labeled.
• Pick and pack orders, ensuring proper packing and documentation.
• Document shipments, prepare trucks, palletize and wrap orders for shipment.
• Participate in cycle counts and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain certifications and follow company safety policies.
