Job summary

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years, seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate to join the Coldwater team. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm, with an starting hourly rate of $18.25–$21.80 and potential increases after 90 days.

Additional pay includes monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses contingent on company performance. Training is provided and duties include unloading, shipping/receiving, forklift use, and CAT² system duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cooper Farms or a similar operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload eggs and materials to designated areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Assist with shipping/receiving at other Cooper Farms locations as needed.
• Safely operate multiple types of forklifts for loading/unloading.
• Obtain certification to operate a Cooper Farms vehicle and travel to multiple warehouses.
• Scan all incoming/outgoing materials and eggs into the CAT² System.
• Wrap, load, and secure outbound products.

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a1st shift Warehouse Associate to join our team in Coldwater.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.25-$21.80 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this position. Job functions include:

• Unloading eggs and materials to be placed in designated areas such as dry storage, cooler or staging area, in a clean organized manner.
• Assisting with shipping/receiving shipments at other Cooper Farms locations when needed.
• Safely operating multiple types of forklifts when loading/unloading material/eggs.
• Must obtain certification to operate a Cooper Farms vehicle and be willing to travel to multiple warehouses.
• Responsible for scanning all incoming/outgoing materials, packaging and nest run eggs into the CAT² System.
• Responsible for wrapping, loading, and securing outbound products
