Cooper Farms, a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a 1st shift Production Associate for its Liquid Egg Processing team in Fort Recovery. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $17.50 with potential increases after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Loader/Material Handler duties: lifting and loading eggs as described in the posting.
• Candler duties: cleaning dirt, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.
• Breaker duties: removing shells or blood in the cups.
• Scanner duties: identifying and removing eggs that could contaminate the product.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our Liquid Egg Processing team in Fort Recovery.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Production Associate to join our Liquid Egg Processing team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS:

Monday through Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm and some Fridays.

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$17.50 with the potential of increasing to $17.70 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

Loader/Material Handler

• Lifting stacks of flats of eggs on to the loader conveyor efficiently
• Disposing of inedible product in correct containers when needed.

Candler

• Being able to recognize and remove any dirt’s, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.

Breaker

• Being able to recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.

Scanner

• Being able to recognize and remove any eggs that could create contamination (dirt’s, leaker, blood, rot).

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
