Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician at its Central Egg Processing location in Coldwater, Ohio. The role involves maintaining and repairing plant production and mechanical systems to keep operations running smoothly.

The position starts at an hourly rate of $20.00-$32.00, with a potential increase after 90 days and a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years maintenance experience is required.
• A two-year vocational degree in maintenance is preferred and maintenance experience on Egg Processing Machinery is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation.
• Properly and legibly complete required documentation including but not limited to: PM’s, PSM, work orders, etcetera.
• Utilize I-Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our Central Egg Processing location in Coldwater.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.00-$32.00+ (dependent upon experience) with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Maintaining and repairing all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation
• Properly and legibly completing required documentation including but not limited to: PM’s, PSM, work orders, etcetera.
• Utilizing I-Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of two years maintenance experience is required.
• Must have strong mechanical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• A two-year vocational degree in maintenance is preferred and maintenance experience on Egg Processing Machinery is strongly preferred.
• Electrical knowledge of 480/240/120, control circuits and basic computer knowledge is preferred.
