Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 1st shift Egg Packer/Stacker to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg, Ohio. This entry-level role trains you to pack cartons and flats of eggs, ensure labels and dates are correct, and communicate variances to the lead.

The shift is Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00am-4:30pm, with a starting hourly rate of $17.50 and potential increase after 90 days. Benefits include monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses, paid vacation after hire, health/dental/vision

Qualifications

• Entry level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Factory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Packing cartons and flats of eggs in proper packaging material.
• Ensuring that case labels match the carton/sleeve type and code date and placing case labels to the proper packed cases when applicable.
• Communicating any variance of carton dates or case labels to the Packer Operator or Processing Floor Lead.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.50 with the potential of increasing to $17.70 after 90 days.
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
