Cooper Farms in Northwest Ohio seeks a 1st shift Processing Floor Lead to supervise the egg processing operation at the Rossburg site, arranging schedules to meet production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Associate degree preferred in food science or related field.

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Processing Floor Lead to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.

SHIFT HOURS:

Sunday through Wednesday 5:00am-4:30pm with optional overtime on Thursdays from 5:00am-4:30pm.

STARTING HOURLY RATE:

$19.90-$23.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY:

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

• Leading the egg processing operation to meet company objectives and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Establishing production schedules for an efficient production while meeting quality standards and delivery requirements.
• Meeting operation goals while complying with internal and external safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• An associate degree in food science or related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cooper Farms or a similar operation is preferred.
• Must have organizational, written and verbal communication and good human relation skills, as well as, experience with Microsoft office.
