Job summary

Amazon is seeking an entry-level Area Manager to lead teams within its fulfillment network. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes mentoring, safety, quality and performance on the warehouse floor.

You will engage hourly staff and drive results in a fast-paced environment, with extensive training to build leadership capabilities. Positions are located in WA, ID, and OR sites, with shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Shift patterns include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs (commonly a 4-day work week)
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment
• Work in a variable noise environment
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)
