Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for on-site operations at a fulfillment center. You will lead 50-100 associates, mentor teams, and drive safety, quality and productivity across shifts. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, real-time problem solving, and clear communication with cross-functional partners.

Strong focus on delivering customer orders while maintaining high standards of attendance, safety and performance in a fast-paced warehouse environment across multiple sites in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor and lead from the floor to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Oversee deliveries, manage shifting resources, and maintain shift handoffs.
