Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for WA, OR, ID, MT, a full‑time, entry‑level leadership role in its operations network. You will lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse or similar setting, focusing on safety, quality, attendance and performance.

The role includes extensive training to develop people leadership, with on‑site responsibilities and potential night/weekend shifts. Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree completed by Aug 2026.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer service and interpersonal skills.
Currently enrolled in or graduated with a degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
Work shifts that may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays with a fixed 4‑day work week.
Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages with pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment where applicable.
Work in a variable noise environment and lift up to 49 pounds.
