Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Texas to lead a team of 50-100 hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll mentor, motivate, and develop staff while ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are met.

The role offers extensive training and opportunities to advance within Amazon’s Operations network across fulfillment centers and delivery stations. Typical shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays with a 4-day pattern in many sites.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Lead a team huddle to align on goals, safety priorities, and focus areas.
• Walk the floor to stay connected with the team and keep operations running smoothly.
• Drive results across safety, quality, and productivity.
• Oversee deliveries, manage equipment, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Close shift with clear handoffs and performance review.
