Job summary

Improvix Technologies seeks a Video Teleconference (VTC) Engineer to provide onsite VTC, AV, and unified communications support in a federal environment in Washington, DC. The role supports executive-level users in high-visibility engagements, ensuring reliable communications and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot quickly, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure meetings run smoothly from start to finish; active Top Secret clearance is preferred and onsite

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting VTC, AV, and unified communications in a professional setting.
• Experience setting up, scheduling, operating, and troubleshooting video conferences.
• Working knowledge of AV equipment: microphones, displays, touch panels, cables, sound systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, and Google Meet.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot VTC and AV equipment for meetings and executive engagements.
• Schedule, coordinate, and support VTC sessions, including high-visibility events.
• Configure AV equipment and conference-room tech and ensure proper operation before meetings.
• Provide onsite, just-in-time VTC support during meetings to resolve issues quickly.
• Support both classified and unclassified VTC environments per security procedures.
• Provide user support for collaboration platforms and ensure smooth sessions.
• Perform pre-meeting checks of room, audio, video, and connectivity.
