Job summary

The role involves configuring and monitoring VTC endpoints, displays, cameras, microphones, codecs, and related peripherals; supporting meetings and events; and coordinating with network and security teams to ensure reliable, compliant collaboration services.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering or supporting VTC, AV, unified communications, or collaboration systems.
  • Working knowledge of video conferencing technologies and AV equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a secure government or enterprise environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical teams.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to meet clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain VTC and video collaboration systems.
  • Support VTC meetings, conferences, and mission-critical events.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, network, connectivity, and equipment issues.
  • Perform system testing, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
  • Configure and manage VTC endpoints, displays, cameras, microphones, codecs, and related peripherals.
  • Coordinate with network, security, facilities, and other technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and equipment inventories.
  • Assist with installation, integration, and configuration of new VTC equipment and technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they affect operations.
  • Follow applicable security policies, procedures, and configuration standards.
  • Support incident tracking, problem resolution, and change-management activities.
  • Perform other related technical duties as assigned.
