Job summary

Stout seeks a Vice President for its Transaction Advisory practice in the United States. You will lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for PE and corporate clients, delivering insights that shape decisions and negotiation strategies.

Expect to supervise analysts, manage multiple projects, and contribute to business development. Strong GAAP expertise, Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5–6 years of audit and/or financial accounting due diligence experience (with at least 2 years in due diligence).
• CPA certification required (or CPA eligible).

Responsibilities

• Supervise analysts and associates to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify risks and deal breakers during due diligence process.
• Analyze income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operational data.
• Synthesize data into observations and conclusions for due diligence reports.
• Lead due diligence calls and meetings with client and target management.
• Involved in business development including client pursuits and proposals.
