Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks a strategic Vice President, Total Rewards to design and lead the enterprise compensation, equity, benefits and wellbeing programs. Based onsite in San Diego, the role partners with Finance, Legal and HR to balance competitiveness and financial sustainability while shaping a patient-inspired culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
• Typically 15 or more years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits or total rewards.
• Experience designing executive compensation in a publicly traded company.
• Deep expertise in equity and incentive design, compensation governance and pay and performance analysis.
• Experience using AI, automation and technology to improve decisions and service delivery with sound judgment regarding privacy, accuracy and human oversight.
• No role is 100% remote. Must be onsite in San Diego. Travel nationally or internationally 10% - 15%.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a multiyear total rewards strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Evolve compensation philosophy and the mix of base pay, annual incentives, equity and other rewards.
• Lead total rewards budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning with Finance.
• Lead pay equity analyses and translate findings into action.
• Oversee executive compensation design, governance and materials for the Compensation Committee.
