Travere Therapeutics in San Diego is seeking a Vice President, Total Rewards to lead the enterprise strategy, design and delivery of total rewards programs that attract, engage and retain exceptional talent.

The role oversees compensation, equity, executive compensation, health and wellbeing benefits, retirement, job architecture and recognition, ensuring programs align with business goals and financial sustainability while using data, analytics and AI to enhance decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
• Typically 15 or more years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits or total rewards.
• Experience designing executive compensation in a publicly traded company and developing recommendations for governance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS/Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a multiyear total rewards strategy aligned with business priorities and talent needs.
• Evolve compensation philosophy and mix of base pay, annual incentives, equity and other rewards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning with Finance to clarify investments and value.
• Anticipate the total rewards implications of organizational change and growth.
• Ensure governance, compliance and effective communication with senior leaders.
