Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Banking- Innovation Banking to lead market research, business development, and client relationship management in a high-growth banking segment.

The role requires coordinating with treasury and credit teams, visiting clients, and presenting financing opportunities to senior leadership. Expect travel and evolving market responsibilities in a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• General banking operations knowledge including deposit operations and loan administration.
• Regulatory and legal compliance knowledge and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services for the target market.
• Engage in business development activities and solicit new business based on the target market.
• Collaborate with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business.
• Develop and maintain customer database including calls and results on all new business relationships; report to superiors as required.
• Interview applicants, gather financing information, perform pre-qualification assessments and risk analysis.
• Present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee for approval; visit sites of loans and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure compliance with lending policies and document requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of financial industry status and trends; recommend improvements and new products.
• Represent the Bank in community and civic functions to expand market position.
