Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Banker - Innovation Banking based in Boston. The role focuses on identifying a target market and developing a new book of business while negotiating and underwriting complex loans in accordance with bank policies.

You will cultivate customer relationships, coordinate deposit products, and collaborate with treasury partners to deliver seamless client experiences. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations and banking products/services.
• Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Identify target market for new business and build a book of business.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate closing of complex loans in line with lending policies.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit products and services and analyze client information for solutions.
• Engage in business development and call on target customers to establish new relationships.
• Coordinate processing of loans and ensure compliance with policies.
