Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Banker in Innovation Banking to build a new book of business and manage a diverse loan portfolio.

The role requires extensive experience in commercial banking, strong relationship management, and the ability to coordinate loan processes while ensuring regulatory compliance. Travel up to 50% may be required, with compensation reflecting market levels across multiple U.S. locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• May require up to 50% travel.

Responsabilidades

• Identify a target market for new business and develop a book of relationships.
• Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate closing of major and complex loans.
• Develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit products and services and analyze client information for deposit solutions.
• Collaborate with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services.
• Maintain customer data base and generate reports for management.
• Present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure compliance with lending policies.
• Represent the Bank in community events to enhance market position.
