Cardinal Health seeks a Vice President, Strategy & Business Development to shape growth across its Specialty businesses in the Biopharma Services landscape. You will lead a seasoned team and partner with senior leaders to drive enterprise growth and long-term value creation.

The role demands strategic vision, exceptional communication, and a hands-on leadership style. Location at Cardinal Health Headquarters in Dublin, OH is preferred, with relocation support as appropriate and travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in strategy roles with healthcare/pharma exposure.
• Experience in Biopharma Services or related pharma/manufacturer functions preferred.
• Strong understanding of HUB services, RWE, 3PL in biopharma.
• Excellent strategic thinking, business acumen and analytical methods.
• Travel expectation around 10% and proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses serving pharmaceutical manufacturers and providers.
• Develop best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
• Anticipate industry evolution and align portfolio with market shifts.
• Identify gaps and capabilities to scale; shape strategic direction.
• Lead all phases of business case development for new initiatives.
• Proactively build and manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities.
• Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and post-integration value realization.
• Advise leaders on strategic direction and objectives.
• Hire, coach, and develop the Strategy & Business Development team.
